I have helped and am helping people cope with loss, divorce, anguish and parenting. Depression is also a major issue that comes up.

You can feel bored for numerous reasons, it does not always mean you have a mental health condition, such as depression. There are usually many other signs and symptoms to indicate that there is an underlying mental health condition. If you are finding yourself unable to enjoy things you previously enjoyed and this feeling lasts for some time, that can be ONE sign of depression, but boredom can happen for many reasons. If you are not trying new things in your life and you have become used to your usual day to day routine, that can lead to boredom. Trying new hobbies, going on holiday or on an adventure somewhere new can really help you feel less bored and like there is more in life to do. I think everyone gets stuck in a boredom rut at some point, so I wouldn't read into it unless you have other signs of depression.
