Because you're hormones makes you feel different type of things , for some like me it's anxiety , for others it might be anger , sadness, happiness ( goddamn lucky) and depressed it's totally normal but you have to recognize that you're about to be in your period so you can understand better what's happening to you :)

It's normal to have the blues or feel sick before a period. As hormone levels rise and fall during a girl's menstrual cycle, it can affect the way women/girl feels, both physically and emotionally. This is known as premenstrual syndrome, or PMS, and it can make a girl feel like hiding in bed with the covers over her head.

You feel depressed before your period because hormones are running around and you become emotional in other words it's called PMS ;)

Generally this is due to hormone changes that occur when your body is preparing for your menstral cycle.

Hormones work in cycles. Different hormones are in higher concentrations at different times in your cycle. Feeling depressed before your period could be caused by these hormonal changes. It also could be something else. Check in with your doctor for any concerns

Well, during that time, hormones go haywire. There's quite a possibility that what's going on is those hormones affecting your mood.

That's a normal thing, nothing you should be too worried about! It's just the chemicals in your body acting up, and it causes you to think differently.

Before someone gets their period, some experience something called PMS. PMS basically screws up all of your hormones and can do all sorts of things though. If it only lasts for a few days then you have nothing to worry about

The hormones from your menstrual cycle can have an effect on your emotions and can sometimes cause you to feel depressed.

This is because of the hormones in your body, people feel different, I always feel really angry and bloated before my period. But it's just how it is, just the hormones in your body. There is a pill that you could take after consulting a doctor, that stops your period.

In all honesty this could stem from the way you feel about your period to just the common mood swings that come with PMS.

It could be PMS which affects our mood and hormones. This is a time when we can be very sensitive, easily agitated and feel low.

Because it affects your emotionally side of it and your mood changes through it and controlling it matters.

Emotionally not accepting the period as part of you and believing you might not be able to perform well during the period could cause depression.

PMS refers to a wide range of physical or emotional symptoms that typically occur about 5 to 11 days before a woman starts her monthly menstrual cycle. The symptoms usually stop when, or shortly after, her period begins.

Many people think that PMS happens during your period, but for many people they actually get emotional the week or so before. This is caused by a drop in the hormones, so your body feels all out of rhythm.

This is quite normal due to hormonal changes in the body. Women also tend to have anxiety instead of depression. You can get the better of it by doing some exercises which are safe while on your period or just do the things your normally like to do.

It's a totally normal feeling every woman experiences. No need to worry about it and when you start to feel depressed do something that you enjoy to distract you.
