when you start to ponder why does everything seem so pointless, you are really at a point of interest awakening. first you are looking for the meaning of things, events, encounters and life itself. Looking for the meaning in reality itself makes us realize that reality has no intrinsic meanings. That leads to the realization that we are the source of meaning. We are the generators of meaning. We are indeed, meaning making minds. When u come to this full realization, you acquire a new degree of freedom. You have started your journey to a new awakening. The beginning of a personal enlightenment. When u listen deeply to others, you come to grips with meaning. When you share your insights, meanings jumps at you. A deep conversation is often an exchange of meaning. tip of the iceberg Cause all of reality is about meaning. A reality loaded with meaning is the other side of the coin of a reality where everything seems pointless.

trust me when I say this.... i know exactly what you are going through. its as if everyone else is living in a different world than you are no matter what you do, it as if though every single person you talk to seems to ignore you later on every relationship seems to end before it can begin you wish that you were someone else a much more popular person but as you are now could never achieve anything ive been there to the point of pure loneliness i still only have friends in the single digits and even they won't be life long but the key is to take life SLOWLY set goals for yourself live each day trying to achieve small goals rather than constantly trying to change the big picture work out more start getting more active in your environment try and think of what you want to do later in life if nothing else live for no reason until you find one fate gives us answers as long as we aren't too discouraged to find them hope this helps!!!

Do you think you may be suffering from depression ? Often people with depression find it hard to find meaning and purpose in life.

Sometimes all you need is a little motivation to give yourself a sense of worth, whether that is taking a nice long walk to sort your thoughts, reading a book, listening to music... Something that makes you happy and gives you a sense of peace.

it's a natural effect when we get away from the "tree of life", from the right path, from the inner real purpose, from what is really good for Us it's the signal (like in cars, like low on fuel) that you are far off in the bushes, and the path is not in front of You anymore if path was straight, really, We as Persons would not be even needed here Our awareness is key to keep us on the Right path habits and beliefs will never help with this (because they like straight lines always) incidentally, this is the way we get off track listening too much to our own beliefs and habits listening too much to external world, with its "precious" opinions about good and bad => We get off track => of course meaningfulness, meaningful flow stops You can consider that, when You keep on true path, you get "paid" with meaning, that state when we are children and we walk the right path naturally when you get off track, meaning quantity shrinks continuously like light, less and less, the more you get away from the source of light luckily, if You take your hands completely off everything everything settles by itself under your own eyes, fueled by your "doing nothing"-ness basically, when We get too much into "doing" it ourselves, We mess it up because Our Job is not to "do" this doing Our Job is keeping on the path, the Right track, judging what's good and bad (usually they slowly change with time), and then focusing on good, this guides the whole mechanism into the right direction the easiest way to do the "doing nothing" part, is to focus on your breathing and avoiding thinking easiest, fastest, most efficient, most available it's like getting into a zero point state, resetting everything repelling all shits gathered in your mind attracting and supporting good things, naturally healing reorienting the more you do it, the easier it becomes to see the right path again like God, or the Universe, is looking at You, at Your state, and starts the repairing, the guiding, again like "ah, ok, he wants to get back to good? great!" (probably that's why it's called good, ...god, good) and meaning comes back, again and You feel so grateful and appreciative and You feel more and more determined to stick to the Right path, more and more, and dismiss "precious" opinions of ignorant or bullies around

I really wish I knew the answer to that. I believe that everything in our mind just completely makes us blind to what we are meant to be. Like happy for example. Everything we have ever heard and seen has made it seem like there is nothing to life. But there is so much to life that we have no idea about.

Because you haven't figured out the point yet. Truth is, life is all about you. It will be as pointless and as worthwhile as you make it. Find the thing that makes you happy and makes time fly when you're doing it, then watch it go from pointless to worthwhile in no time.

"I instantly realized that everything in my life that I'd thought was unfixable was totally fixable—except for having just jumped." Ken Baldwin, Golden Gate Bridge Jump Survivior. You are looking at things with negative lenses. Try to see the glass as half full, not half empty. Everything can work out positively, if you just believe.

is there any particular reason you are feeling this way? Maybe due to a recent event or the way someone has acted towards you, making you feel this way.

Often things seem so pointless due to our own lack of motivation which skews our views so we feed into depression.

When things are out of our control we feel everything is pointless at times. It's a normal human nature. We feel low, we feel high, we feel everything is worthless, we feel yes everything is so beautiful. These thoughts are temporary and come n go. Do ur thing, everything will be clear with time.

Sometimes, things are pointless if we let them be. There are situations where things are out of our control and we can learn to manage or avoid them. However, we can usually improve other situations by actively dealing with them, including sharing about them here!

Sometimes everything seems pointless because you feel that life has no meaning. When you feel like this, it is a good idea to search for a meaning of life. It is also I good idea to help other people; when you help other people, you often end up helping yourself as well.

To people like you and I, life may seem pointless, but the reality of our situation is, it's not! :)

If you are feeling that everything seems pointless, it may be time to reach out to someone who can help you with those feelings. You might want to find and speak to a counselor or therapist about why you are feeling this way. Someone who can help you get your feelings on track and help you to move forward. If you are underage, try talking with your parents or a trusted adult who can help you find your way.

perhaps you have begun to look at things from a nihilist perspective. try being more optimistic about life, even if it doesn't feel natural at first.

Maybe because you're focusing on the negative points and that's probably not a conscious process. It usually happens when some kind of mental illness is at play or a traumatic experience.
