You will be able to move forward and live your life but now you are able to help someone that has experienced the same thing.

Because the faster we run from our fears, the harder they chase us. Running away gives more power to your traumatic memories. Plus it's exhausting. Facing the trauma, facing the pain will hurt, but it will give you power and control over the fast, so that it doesn't dominate you. You may never be "over" it, but you can learn to live with the past. Facing the past will give those bad memories a smaller and smaller place in your heart and mind.

Because it shows you are able to get through a fall in your life. You are showing you are strong by getting through it and once you make it through you will have techniques to use when you have another down or fall in life.

Facing trauma can be very difficult, but if you are able to face it head on you can move on to healing. Facing trauma and acknowledging emotions tied to it can give you power to deal with the hard emotions. If you can work on dealing with the emotions, the more you try the easier it will be to move into a manageable emotional state. Becoming more in control of your emotions can make it easier to work on other aspects of your life such as work, school and relationships.

Every challenge we face makes us stronger. Just think of your trauma as a challenge for you to overcome, a really hard challenge you must complete to go on. By facing this trauma you will be able to face harder challenges, and the weight of your trauma will be lifted.

Facing your problems helps you cope, if the problem is solved it usually helps, knowing that it is out of your way!
