PTSD takes baby steps and is different for everyone. With flashbacks, try grounding techniques such as describing what you see, feel, hear, etc. It keeps you in the now rather than sucking you into the past. Talk to loved ones about your ears and anxieties, there's is nothing to be ashamed of and many people understand (maybe not fully) what it's like to be afraid and anxious.
Personally I found my ptsd easier to manage when I stopped fighting it, I accepted it as a part of me and looked for a way to manage better, mindfulness, yoga, meditation, grounding techniques and therapy to process some of my traumas. Connecting with nature and finding peace withing myself were vital to me. Its a journey of acceptance in my mind.
I try to stay in the moment as much as possible. Acknowledging my triggers, then working through them by stating reality. If that doesn't work, removing myself from the trigger.
You can start by facing the fact that there is a problem and try to seek professional help though counseling or therapy. Perhaps that could help you work though your feelings and move forward.
You can deal with PTSD by talking to a close friend about it. If it is severe, please consult a local therapist.
Firstly get the diagnosis then counseling and/or possibly medication for depression or anxiety or panic attacks
