Half of me really wants to eat, but I can't bring myself too. It's only been two days but I'm worried about how my body will cope if I continue not eating for an extended period of time. What can I do?

You recognize the conflict you're experiencing in terms of whether to eat or not. Would you elaborate a little bit more on what's behind both sides of what you're feeling? What's behind the half of you that wants to eat? What's behind the feeling that you can't bring yourself to do so? I ask because I've felt the same way, and these kinds of questions have helped me get to the root of what is going on. That said, while I can't speak for you, I know that for me this conflict was actually rooted in issues totally unrelated to food. I was using my eating habits as a means for control, and also limited my sense of self-worth to (my own perceptions of) my body. If you think that might be the case for yourself, too, you might consider reaching out for professional help. There's no shame in that (I know if can feel that way at times). You are worthy of getting the help you need.
