You are worth so much more than your weight. You are your intelligence, your kindness, your interests. Gaining weight means you can run and dance and have fun and use your energy for good. Try volunteering somewhere - it will make you realise that you do matter and you can have a positive impact in the world but only if you eat and have enough energy.

You think about all the good things you're doing to your body by becoming healthy again. Think about your new; improved live! :)

Well, make every small amount lost a big deal, because you are accomplishing your goal no matter how slow or fast. Everyone has those thoughts like I'm fat, and when you do try saying an international phrase about yourself. Look at the bright side while saying I can do this. Make your body a reflection of who you really are, a fabulous amazing person.

When you step on the scale, how do you feel? Avoiding the scale for a period of time, or only weighing yourself once a week or once a month (or whatever you are comfortable with) can help you stop focusing on the weight and start focusing on how healthy you are becoming.

Focus on other things you will gain by recovering like energy, happiness and a life not lived constantly focusing on your diet. Try to avoid looking at triggering images in magazines and avoid comparing yourself to others your body is yours, it should not have to compete with anyone elses

Try not to look in the mirror or step on the scale, in fact just tell your parents or sibling or friend to get rid of it.

When you're gaining weight to be healthy, try not to always weigh yourself or count calories! Your health should come first. It may be hard at first, but it's not impossible. If you do weigh yourself and find yourself unhappy with the number you see, try not to be discouraged. It just means you're getting better, and that's an amazing thing. :)

Unfortunately, many people are under the impression that weight is not a good thing. However, weight is extremely important to stay healthy. When you gain weight while you become healthy again, you can remind yourself of the following: 1) Weight is like a cushion to the body-the thinner someone is, the less protected their bones are in the case of a fall etc. 2) Weight is an insulator from the cold- very thin people are more likely to get sick from the cold

Instead of thinking of the weight you're gaining, think about how active you are now, the foods that you eat and how you can improve to get to a body shape you feel comfortable in. Thinking about your weight will make you think negatively about yourself. Setting goals and a creating a plan to work toward those goals will give you a more positive outlook on the situation and gives you something to strive for.

If you're worried about your weight gain, there's nothing too bad about it. There are lots of ways to maintain a good diet into your life to be healthy and to keep in shape. Eat real foods, don't divulge on sweets or something you know makes you add weight as often, you can have your occasional cheat day whether it's every Sunday or one day in one month. Know what makes you feel better, exercise and make things good for you. Things will be okay and you've got this.

Try to focus on other things changing, like your skin getting healthier or your hair getting thicker and healthier.

Maybe you need to stay busy or get a new hobby like writing songs or poems that can maybe express your feelings without harming yourself and your health
