It is never too late, nor is it too early to get help. Research does show that some people find it easier to reach recovery faster if they enter treatment in early stages of the illness. So if you suspect that you have it, please try to talk to someone about it.
As soon as you realize that majority of your habits are being self induced i.e. going on huge eating binges, vomiting, starving you must set yourself up to seek professional help.
I think it is time to get help when the eating disorder starts conflicting with your life. When you can't enjoy the things you used to, or you can't go places. Or when you start to have medical problems. Seeking help earlier is better, but it is never too late.
I believe that the best time to get help for an eating disorder is when you finally realize that you have one. It's hard to admit that you have an ED and I knew that once I finally realized that I had one, I felt different about myself and knew I needed help
From the very first meal you skip. If you are purposely not eating, it is a problem. Hurting your body isn't a good thing.

i think any time is the right time. when you feel like something is wrong and its controlling a lot of things in your daily life like your thoughts, how you function, just beyond your disordered ways of eating, its good to go and get help. but really, as soon as you think you might have a problem in the slightest and are comfortable with it, you should get help! :) you deserve mental well being and to be the healthiest and happiest!

i think that as soon as you think that you might have a eating disorder its time to reach out for help cause neglection or denial of it will only worsen it , its indeed tough to reach out for help but in the end it will be worth it

it is time to get help for an eating disorder when you think it is getting out of control. by this time, people around you should be noticing that you are acting different. your body should be going through dramatic changes. for example, your blood pressure is always low, you are always tired etc. eating disorders have a tendency to eat you alive, pun intended. it is so important to talk to your parents, a close friend, your teacher, anyone that you trust if you feel like you are going insane. eating disorders are very much psychological and they are treatable, however you have to want to get treated, or else you will be stuck in a vicious cycle

Then I think it is time to get help. When you begin to be consumed with thoughts of how you are going to eat, what you are going to eat, when you are going to eat or not eat. Then it is time to get help. When you start lying about what and when you eat. Then it is time to get help.
