I haven't so much as overcome my binge eating disorder, as I have found ways to cope with it on a daily basis. What I mean is, I can deal with it but it's still there and it still happens sometimes. Some things that I've tried are: Counting to 20 before I put something in my mouth, drinking a glass of water instead of eating, setting a schedule for when I eat, having gum on hand, putting all foods in serving size containers/baggies, eliminating most foods that I used to binge on from my pantry (but not all). Just remember though, a binge eating session isn't something to beat yourself up over.

I started listening more to my body, telling me when I was full and double-asking if I really needed it.

I learned that everyone is unhappy with something about themselves and learned to accept my body and embrace the positiveness

I have suffered from overeating/binge eating. It took me a while to overcome it. I started planning out my meals, and gave myself a maximum on what I could eat in a day. Do that for a while, and track the outcome.
