Well, from my own personal experience it is because I have an eating disorder. You never really feel okay with eating. You have to have that control, because the rest of your life is falling to pieces. Control is the main issue I think. Not the eating or not eating thing.

You are not telling yourself, your ED is. It sounds like your eating disorder is winning the war, and its time that you fight back. You know its unhealthy to skip meals and you know breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you are not feeling hungry in the morning, start with eating something small and work your way up. ED is just going to keep telling you not to eat and its time to not listen to him anymore. You know right from wrong, so do the right and healthy thing.

Because your mind and heart are not in sync. The mind wants to ruin your day, and the heart wants to ace your day. Which is smarter really depends, which leads to internal trust issues, and usually is the stepping stone to disorders.

You think by not eating you can be greater and have control over your life. You think that less is more but it really isn't. You just need to tell yourself that eating is nessecary and calories are literally energy forms. You need them to survive. The number on the scale can't get you jobs, love and happiness. It will for a moment but you can't be truly happy with your body until you embrace the good and the bad.

In your opinion you may have too much meat on your bones and you don't think your skinny or pretty enough. But I'm here to tell you that you don't have to wake up and not eat, if you want to eat then eat, just eat healthier and exercise more and you'll have the body type you want in no time.

Hunger and thinness are often associated. When we feel hungry, we feel like we are thin and accomplishing what may be our goals. Combat the feeling to not eat by thinking about what kind of energy you can get from nutritious and tasty food.
