I have been through a lot in life too, which helps me to be able to empathize with situations, thoughts and feelings that we have. Sometimes, it's not easy just being human.

Yes, providing you have the minimum amount to open an account with. Banks are normally able to protect 100k, anything over if the bank closes you will lose, so multiple bank are great to protect your savings of over 100k. (this is for the UK)

Yes I have had more than one bank account. It is definitely possible. You can have accounts at multiple banks as well. The only people who cannot are people who are banned for either owing money or for certain types of thefts. But anyone else can have a bank account and you can have multiple accounts. You would need to be at least eighteen as well which I am sure you are if you are on this website but you just go to your bank and ask to open a second account or go to another bank and do it
