Likely because they see you as different, and to some people different is a bad thing. Don't listen to them, though! Crazy or not, there are people who love or would love to have you in their lives :)

Sometimes it's hard for people to understand each other when we all have different world views. People might not be trying to see things from your perspective and your motivations behind what you think and do, so they assume it's "crazy".
