Being gay consists in experiencing attraction towards the same gender, but sometimes it's not easy to find out if it's our case, because due to our upbringing, social fears or other factors we might want to hide our real identity even from ourselves. So you'll have to try to be as honest with yourself as you can, keeping in mind that any orientation is ok and everyone has a chance of happiness and love, no matter who they are. You can try to explore your feelings, emotions and sensations, picturing yourself with people of the same gender, analyzing the way that kind of thoughts make you feel, and then dothe same with the other gender. If you're able to do that with self-honesty and without fear or conditioning, you will find your answer!
It can be hard to know our sexuality at first and if the human mind has taught me anything about it it is that sexuality is fluid.

I want to share a few tips i've learnt as a queer person myself and some i have learnt:
-take some time to notice what you're attracted to physically, is it the opposite gender or the same?
-could you see yourself in a long term relationship with someone the same sex as you?
-are you in anyway attracted to the same sex?
-do you feel like you could love someone of the same sex?
-have you ever thought about kissing, holding hands etc. With someone of the same sex?
Ask these type of questions to yourself, if the answer to these is yes.. It means you show a definite attraction and romantic interest in someone of the same sex....... Meaning you could be gay.
Give it time and allow yourself to discover, hope this helped.
