I am headed off to college soon, and I am paranoid that I won't meet anyone to date. I know that sounds a little crazy, but I am really afraid that I won't meet another woman?

The LGBT population that openly lives their identity is increasing, and many people find that college is a suitable environment to start living their identity openly, since they are far away from home, family and people they know. Some people prefer to come out in this sort of condition before coming out to the people they've always knew where they live. So it sounds like it's even more likely for you to find a girl there! And to increase your chances, you can start taking part into LGBT environments - clubs, circles, cultural events...

Honestly, college is probably one of the best environments for meeting people. You're constantly meeting new people and colleges are typically a melting pot of different types of people. I'm sure you'll do fine.

so you are afraid that you will not get the women to date this not just your problem many peopels shares the same feeling or fear as you are right now not only men but women also, just ask the question from yourself that what is the probability that you will not get the women and is there any factor due to which it can happen if there is any reason most probably you can rectify that if there is no reason then why to worry about hypothetical problems, wasting time for hypothetical things makes your real life harder so try to find out the way by yourself as you are expert of your life and you know your condition very well like no other do

That's not crazy at all, it's definitely valid to feel some anxiety about meeting people. If you're worried about being able to meet another woman, you could get a dating app so you can see other interested women in the area. Additionally, if you just want to see some proof that queer women exist everywhere, there's this website called queering the map in which queer people can anonymously pin areas where they had queer experiences, and reading them can be a really validating expereince, so I highly suggest checking it out! You can also check to see if your college has any sort of LGBTQ clubs or resources!

It can be pretty scary going off somewhere completely new! But I think the pros always will outweigh the cons! I think that you'll find yourself with more connections than you know what to do with. My advice is to introduce yourself to new people. Go to events for things that fit your interests and don't be afraid to be the one to initiate hanging out. If something isn't there for you, go and create it for yourself. College is what you make of it. Usually they have a large number of social groups and activities for you to get involved in. I hope you love the college experience!

First of all, that feeling is totally understandable! But as time goes by, and as you start to settle with your classes and school work, then you will find a way to balance and make time for your study and your love life too. Take it easy, you will find a lot of people (woman as you preferred) from classes, around the campus or even parties! Don't forget to get out more and just enjoy your youth. Make a lot of friends and don't worry if you can't find anyone, it's okay too! Go out and make moves :p
