I have been through a lot in life too, which helps me to be able to empathize with situations, thoughts and feelings that we have. Sometimes, it's not easy just being human.

Yes, it is possible to feel this way. The different kinds of attraction, including romantic, sexual and aesthetic, can form all sorts of combination. If that's who you feel, then this is who you are, and it's a perfectly valid identity.
I would say that that makes sense; aesthetic attraction doesn't correlate to sexuality.
Yes you feel aesthetic attraction to your partner, however, if you feel that just appreciating how someone looks doesn't necessarily lead to you getting feelings for them, I would say it's more about the platonic side of things/about whose beauty you can acknowledge.
I identify as asexual biromantic, so for myself that means I only feel romantic attraction towards men and women. But I have seen non-binary people who I did find very attractive- it's just about drawing the line to romantic/sensual attraction.
In the end though, it's your sexuality, your identity and your experience, so just go whatever label feels best to you. This is just my experience.
