There seem to be too many catastrophic possibilities in the world. I'm too terrified to live and witness them and want out by means of suicide. Is there any reason to live here?

I'm not going to lie to you and tell you that the world isn't a horrible place because it is, but that doesn't mean that the world isn't a beautiful place as well. It is scientifically proven that humans tend to dwell on negative things and although those negatives are true, there are still positive things in life. I don't know much about you, but are you sure that you can't find one thing in life that is worth living for? Is there a person that you enjoy spending time with, an animal that adores you, family and friends that would miss you, hobbies that you enjoy, places that you want to go to, things that you want to eat, games that you want to play, books that you want to read, movies that you want to watch? Are you also sure that you can't find one person to live for? In my deepest darkest moments when death seems like a good option, I remind myself, how would my mother feel if I abandoned her. She would be heartbroken. There's three things that I want you to know about suicide. First, is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Second, suicide doesn't end the pain, it just passes it to someone else. Lastly, two-thirds of people that try to kill themselves are not that intent on succeeding. This shows that suicidal people don't necessarily want to die, they just want to end their pain. So before you decide to end your life, please think again.

There is always a reason to live, we just have to find it. Often times we believe that no one cares about what we are going through. There will be moments in our lives where we may feel alone, but that's because no one knows that we are. Find that someone who wants to spend time with you. The first step is self-awareness, and then confidence. If you want people to hang out with you, you need to exude confidence! Don't listen to those lies that say that you don't belong. Feel confident in who you are, not where you are.
