To remember you are alive! Feelings and emotions -even if they're not happy feelings- are there to let us remember we're alive! Emotions are there for letting us know if everything's okay or if it's time for a change!

You have to feel emotions to know if you're living and not just existing. Emotions or feelings are needed in order to grow and learn more about yourself and your limitations and for you to achieve a harmonious life together with the people you love .

If you're always happy OR always sad, you will not feel the joy of life. An emotional roller coaster helps you to know the meaning of your life and makes you cherish your happiness and your blessings.

Emotions are like suggestions from our subconscious. They are there to guide us in directions we believe are important to us. They arise for all sorts of reasons. Selfish ones, selfless ones, protection, exploration, misunderstanding, realization, and many more. They are like a call to action, begging you toward a certain direction which somewhere inside you feel passionately about. We have so many because we, as people, are extremely complex. We have many different wants, needs, beliefs, thoughts, and goals which we develop over years of existing and exploring our lives. It's as if you're the main character in a story that has nearly infinite different paths and side stories to choose from at your finger tips. Your brain does the best it can to guide you down the ones you want the most and emotions are your rough guide. We at times feel them all at once because we are so multi-faceted. Many of us struggle to truly choose just one path and have conflicting interests with ourselves. It can feel overwhelming when bombarded with so much at once but we must not lose sight. Not many people are capable of looking at the mountain before them and making the climb with their eyes on the peak. We often find it more tangible to look at the first step before us and take it one at a time. I find it's best to take my jumbled ball of emotions and identify them one at a time. I try and determine where this emotion is coming from and why I'm feeling it. Once I've done that, I move to the next one. Sometimes there's no understandable reason which I can determine and that's ok. I allow it to exist. I see my emotions as children feeling certain ways and I try to treat them as such. If I'm feeling sad and confused, I'll embrace my sadness with love and compassion as one would a sad child. I try to explain to my confusion so we may reach an understanding. We, as people, are the adults. Our emotions are our children. Raise them as you think a child should be raised and they will grow along with you.

To develop as a human and a person yourself. You are the sum of all of your prior emotions and feelings and you need them to understand others, to behave according to the norms of society, to feel in an appropriate way in a given situation. They are like your weapons for a war, you have them and have the power to use them as well because they are there to help you grow as a person.

Emotions are energy in motion. If we don't have them- we are not living. Surpressing them is the trouble and the energy get's blocked and stuck...I learned that by accepting all of my emotion I am most alive- just like children- laughing, crying- like clouds in the sky -here one moment - gone the next!

It's a part of being human. Sadness for when we need to alert people around us that we're facing a hard moment in time, happiness to let others know it's a good day and to smile, anger to show we're not happy with something. All in all, it's a part of being us.

Emotions help show us what we need to pay attention to, and also allows us to understand and appreciate the full human experience. Anywhere you look there will be a good to counteract the bad, and vice versa. The same applies for emotions. We cannot experience good things unless we have something bad to compare them to. Emotions inspire us and motivate us.

The emotions you feel are what builds you to become who you are. Without emotions we would be nothing but mindless slaves, without emotions we could never imagine what someone else have lived through and therefore we could never forgive people who harmed us either. Basicly, without emotions we would be nothing but ruthless monsters combating for survival. I personally believe that the more emotions you feel the better person you are.

Emotions and feelings are simply what make us human, what make us alive. Unfortunately, negative emotions are also part of that. It can sometimes get overwhelming, everything may seem like a big mess of conflicting feelings and complicated emotions, but that's just life. We have to live with them, take a deep breath and sort through everything. There won't always be negative emotions; there are plenty of positive, wonderful ones too. We just have to calmly peel away the negativity and find all the good things in life underneath.

Emotions define us. We need emotions to express ourselves. Imagine a world without emotions, we wont be able to express our feelings to others, we wouldn't be able to comprehend another person's feelings towards us. Therefore, emotions act as a bridge between our feelings and our behavior. Emotions can play a major role in determining our physical and mental health. The way we make decisions, react to situations, perceive others, celebrate life, all evolve around our emotions. We often try to emphasize on negative emotions more than celebrating positive emotions, due to this, we feel like negative emotions last longer than positive ones. Its important to cherish all our emotions, and make space for everyone to express their emotions.

Without all the emotions we have we wouldn't have any others because there is nothing to compare the emotions to. Without sad there wouldn't be any happy.

You have to have emotions because that makes you human, else your just a tree or a rock etc. What differs us from things and animals are our feelings and emotions.

Emotions are a necessary part of life. We may not enjoy feeling depressed, anxious, scared, upset, embarrassed, but they are a part of our emotional spectrum just as love, happiness, excitement, pride, joy, contentment are. We need the negative emotions to appreciate the positive ones. Sometimes you may feel you're experiencing too many emotions at once and cannot even tell which you are feeling. Sometimes this can be due to mental illness so if you are having concerns, see your gp.

Would you like Black and white life or colorful life.... What's the point of having a colorful life if you can live with b/w as well... Why do we like to see colored movies even though we can see them in B/W as well.. The point of having so many emotions is just so that we may distinguish clearly between all the situations that we face and act differently.... Or else everyone would behave like a robot....either yes or no...that's it... There won't be any difference left between us and robots then.... Emotions are what make us human and keep us alive... :)

Emotions provide valuable information that you can use to make choices about your need and desires. Of course the trick it to feel them with out becoming them. To respond rather than react to them. Emotions are not an emergency. Emergency is what happens when you repress of ignore your emotions.

The human body is a beautiful thing. If you had no emotions you could possibly commit the worst crimes and not care. Someone would die and you wouldn't care. That doesn't sound nice, does it?

Emotions can overwhelm us but are primarily here to aid us. Examining them and what triggers them is a good way to understand what the try to tell us.

It shows you are a very caring, well rounded person. Some might say you love or care too much. However, if you are able to handle so many emotions, you will make yourself both stronger and a more compassionate and understanding person.

Emotions are a part of us that help us realize life has it's ups and downs. Without emotions life would be dull, boring, and overcoming obstacles would mean nothing.

Humans, as a part of their nature, never feels only one emotion at the same time. We always feel lots of emotions at the same time. Our brain never stops thinking, that thoughts cause feelings so we always feel lots of emotions at the same time in our hearts.

Emotions keep us feel alive. Being able to feel all the emotions could make us like see clearly the life. Sadness and anger makes us loathe something and we felt like we're trapped in a cold dark room. Happiness and cheerfulness makes us appreciate the rainbow after the rain, it washes our eyes and we could clearly see how to value and give importance to things that were useless before. Empty and hollow feelings is like existing but not living at all but it makes us see how to be stable feeling nothing at all like numbness. Passion and Compassion is exactly the opposite of emptiness, it makes us feel on fire like we could practically do anything with the fire flowing in our vain. Emotions are so crucial in our everyday living that it makes us feel how to live the world.

Fact is, we all have emotions and we are human so we feel them. Now, you cant fight this... because it's still going to exist. So the best way is to deal with it in a balanced manner so you dont let them grip you as much.

The point of having emotions isn't an easy question and it isn't easy to answer at all. Honestly, the main point of emotions is because we were born with them. Emotions as well define us as a being. Take for example Extrovert and Introvert.

There are many many emotions, you are merely feeling a few of them. Depending on your situation, you're feeling the "package". You know how in a book store there are genres, such as manga, romance, comedy. . . then within those genres there are series, and within series are books. Within books are pages. You are feeling pages right now, with little bitty words laced within even those pages. There's always something bigger than what you're feeling, ALWAYS. You aren't feeling all of them.

Emotions can be wonderful things! If you weren't sad sometimes, how would you realise how happy you are?
