Depends! Errr......If you're not dying as you read this, I'd say it's just an anxiety attack.... (You're still alive, right?) Okay, just in case that you ARE having a heart attack and happens to not be dead as you read this, I recommend you contact someone to help you pronto. Otherwise, take a deep breath, mister, and think of a serene place that you enjoy. :D

Panic attack comes repeatedly with near or total normalcy in between like a sudden rain and then a bright sunshine. Heart attack also comes suddenly with variying and variety of body discomfort around upper part of abdomen, chest and neck area with great degree of anxiety and pleading for help without any reductions of severity.

Whatever your having, your the one having it. Let yourself not fear it and do not succumb to what is momentary.

Well, in my opinion it's nearly ALWAYS a panic attack! Here are some signs of a heart attack, if one of these arises then I suggest you call the emergency services immediately! Symptoms of a heart attack: Left arm becomes numb or tingly, rapid heart beat followed by an occasional skip, severe chest pains, dizzyness.

Sometimes panic attacks can have physical symptoms that can make you feel like you're having a heart attack. An important thing to remember is that panic attacks are not fatal and they will pass.

It is perfectly normal to feel this way, but understand that it is simply a physical reaction to stress. It will feel as though you are having a heart attack, but in reality it's just a lost of anxiety that has manifested itself in the form of a panic attack.

Most of the time when having a panic attack, it can seem scary and like a heart attack. Be sure you know the symptoms of each one, and if you truly believe you are having a heart attack, it is best to get immediate medical attention.

If you're having a panic attack, most of the struggle will be with breathing. It may be really rapid and shallow, and it might be hard to concentrate. You may be shaking, or feel like you're shuddering involuntarily. A heart attack is characterized by starting with a pain in your chest, and breathing will not be as much of a problem. I hope that this was helpful for you

I have panic attacks a few times a month, They're usually always brought on by nothing I can think of. Every time I have one my arms get tingly and go numb and I can't feel my legs and my heart beats really fast. I think I'm always having a heart attack and I'm dying. But I stay calm as best I can and focus on breathing and it helps me get through it every single time.

The signs for a heart attack can be similar to a panic attack. The best way to know for certain is seeing a doctor who can access you and check your heart (especially if you have risk factors). Chest pain can seem like angina but there are many complicated and physiological things the body does in panic. Usually, if you are having a heart attack, you will have clear symptoms, and be genuinely concerned for your health, panic attacks trick you into thinking you are dying. Of course there is no way to know for sure, but if you suspect something serious it is ALWAYS OK to call 911, better to be safe than sorry. A medic would be able to tell at the scene if you are having a heart attack by doing a quick EKG.

It's best to educate yourself on both panic attacks and heart attacks. Learning the similarities and differences between them, especially between biological genders since heart attacks affect each one differently can help you a lot to know when one is a serious medical emergency and when one is needing of some grounding. Panic attack pains do happen quite often in the chest region and make it difficult to breathe causing an increased heart rate and a pain that that gets better over time. A heart attack is a squeezing pain and pressure in the chest and the pain gets worse over time. I hope this helps.
