First of all, it's normal for anyone to hear a noise at night and get scared. We ALL do it. I promise. It can be a fun exercise to try and guess what the noise is. I find that can be a helpful coping skill. Maybe also put on some relaxing music in the background. If you hear a noise at night and it bothers you terribly, maybe take a walk around your house to see where it could be coming from. You might find that it came from something you see and hear all the time and in the end, you'll feel really silly. Try not to be too paranoid. You don't want to make up anything in your mind. It can play some scary tricks on you!
