How long does it take to realize someone wont change?

It can take minutes, hours, months, years or even eternity. But make sure when you are old and wrinkled and sitting on that rocking chair you don't regret your decision. Don't regret that " I wish I would've done it differently maybe I would be in a better place now"
After you have given them a chance to change and helped them identify behaviors that aren’t good then it’s time to realize that they wont change. Especially if you actively told them that those certain behaviors hurt you or hurt your feelings. If a person is really willing to change then their actions will correlate with their words no matter what. Or they would try to listen and understand. So if you dont see this person actively working on trying to change their bad habits then they wont because they simply do not want to. And that is totally okay.
