You cannot love others if you do not love yourself, and sometimes the ones we love don't have the capability of giving us the love that we know we deserve. Being able to draw a line in the sand and say to ourselves "Okay, this isn't right for me." Is a big step towards finding a happier version of ourselves; It takes a lot to stand up for ourselves in a relationship, so finally being ABLE to do so is a big step towards reaching the level of emotional maturity that will constantly be your source of inner happiness. :)
