it can sometimes be very difficult to make friends, wether due to anxiety, shyness or worry, however it is important to remember that lots of people feel the same way! i’m sure anyone would like to be your friend, me included, and the key to making new friends is to approach them in a friendly and open way, being yourself from day one. friends do not have to be too similar to you, and you can be friends with anybody who makes you feel comfortable and happy. shyness can often make us feel nervous that other people won’t like us or we will do something wrong, and this is caused by overthinking. jumping straight into situations can feel scary, and so it’s crucial to just take time with yourself and only do things that you’re sure you’re ready for. hope this helps :)
