Your best bet is to sit down and have a chat with him. Talking about how you’re feeling can be an eye opener. He might feel the same way.
In a relationship communication is the key. This question, you might want to ask your boyfriend. If there wont be mutual effort and you are unhappy, there are alwaysalternatives
It sounds like you're feeling abandoned and crushed. I know that that can be devastating to a person because I have been through something similar myself. I was involved in a relationship that hurt me as well and I know that coming to the realization that it is in fact hurting your feelings rather than lifting them up can be hurtful as well. Could you tell me more about how you're feeling when your boyfriend acts this way? How does it make you feel in the moment? Is there something that I can do to help you alleviate some of the stress you're feeling in regards to your relationship circumstance?
You yourself are aware that your boyfriend doesn't love you. That is not liked by anyone, and of course this creates discomfort, because I suppose that you love him. As much as you love him, this situation is unsustainable. My advice is to break up with him, because if you say that he does not love you, it is not worth it. Also, in a relationship there's physical contact, that is indisputable. From what you have described, it seems that he treats you more like a "special friend" or a "friend with rights" than his girlfriend. There are a lot of guys in the world who will surely treat you much better, which is what you deserve.
