I've been there too. I feel as if I'm not worthy enough so I give this guy a chase, and it ended up pretty badly. It's never right to hurt people but that doesn't ultimately turn you into a bad person. Reaching out and helping you both understand the situation better also helps. One mistake never hinders growth. People's opinions are not easily swayed at times but the only opinion that matters concerning you is that of yourself. Your own opinion. Guilt always comes but it also fades.
