It could be possible that your boyfriend has done things to hurt you in the past or lose your trust in him? Examples could be cheating, constantly lying, etc. You may also be afraid of the way he reacts when you need to tell him something. Either way, not being able to trust your boyfriend shows signs of a toxic relationship and I believe communication would be key in making this a healthy relationship, or just ending it between you two. It's better to be free and not have to worry about not trusting your boyfriend than to constantly deal with the thoughts rushing through your head and the anxiety of it all. And also, there are plenty of other people out there who will be willing to love you right and be trustworthy and loyal
