That is so overwhelming. I struggled with hating myself for such a long time. It felt like wave after wave, like it would be endless. I honestly thought I would hate myself forever. But then I learned something amazing. I learned that I am loved completely just as I am by the God of the universe. I learned that even with everything I hate about myself, He loves me just as I am. And that's true for you too - God created you and loves you just as you are. He sent his Son to die for you because He loves you so much. And if the God who made us loves us, then we must be lovable I think. You are so lovable, just as you are.

It is difficult sometimes to break a cycle of negative thoughts. In my experience, I had to make a conscious effort to be kinder to myself when I looked in the mirror or had negative thoughts. It helped overcome the cycle of negativity and made my overall outlook more positive. This was tricky to do at first, but I soon found that it had become a habit and, while I still try to be actively kinder to myself, I have notice a big change in my attitude towards myself and it has made me happier as a result.
