I believe everyone should have the opportunity for their voice to be heard. I use a trauma informed, person centred approach in counselling.

How about starting a Compliment Jar? For an entire month, write down something you like about yourself every single day. From your ability to write well or how much you like your eye color, any compliment that's truly positive, counts. At the end of the month, go through your positive thoughts and reflect on them.

Nothing that you like to do, or nothing that you like about yourself, these two are pretty common and can result from low self esteem.
