Is there such a thing as 'disruptive personality'? Can it be traced to up-bringing? If it is recognized as a type of personality disorder, how can the sufferer deal with their remorse and improve?

There is such thing as Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), but it is not a Personality Disorder. Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is the closest to it in my experience. Disruptive Behavior Disorders include Conduct Disorder and Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I will only delve into the first two however. They can certainly be traced to upbringing. There's a lot of factors which could play in the diagnosis, but childhood trauma is common with both. I was actually misdiagnosed with DMDD before getting diagnosed with BPD. If you're referring to the remorse of the actions we take when experiencing anger, what can really help is treatment. Dialectical Behavior Therapy is helpful for BPD and DMDD to an extent, but I've heard that CBT can be helpful along with psychotherapy in general. Self-forgiveness can be be learned as well, which may help with the guilt.
