I have been through a lot in life too, which helps me to be able to empathize with situations, thoughts and feelings that we have. Sometimes, it's not easy just being human.

I used to self harm when I was younger, and I had the same issue.
It hurts for a while because even though the surface skin has healed, it's still healing the tissue beneath. It won't last and it will heal completely soon.
Take care of your skin, try to use a vitamin dense moisturiser and keep the area clean. Try not to scratch or pick though I know that can be hard.
I hope you are kind to yourself because you deserve it, just like I did when I was younger. I am proud of you for being here today.
With love,
Ella.
