Yes, of course! Acid is a very dangerous substance and should not be used to play with as it can harm yourself and other people.

Of course it does! Any form of inflicting physical or mental pain or hurt on oneself is an act of self harm. Being aware of your triggers and recognizing when you are about to perform an act of self harm is the first step in correcting the behavior.

Self harm can take many forms. If you deliberately do this to intentionally cause pain, that is a method of self harm.

Yes, using something to harm yourself and having pain then yes you're seems harming, no matter what you use, if you use something to hurt yourself then I'd il consider it being self harm, and if you're in pain let me know.

Yes anything such as harmful things used on yourself to prevent thoughts and or feeling is considered self harm

Yes. In anyway you use any kind of object or substance on yourself purposefully and especially if you have intentions of using them to hurt yourself, it is self-harm.

Yes it does count as self harm and you should not be doing that. It is really dangerous to use acid. You also need to get some professional help for your self harm.

If you do it on purpose then yeah, you're hurting yourself and when you self-harm and you are purposely hurting yourself.

yes. you are harming yourself so it is self-harm even if its not very common. some self harms are more extreme than others and some are less common

Yes. Any form of injury that causes harm to one's self is considered self-harm. Burning, whether it be with acid, fire, boiling water, etc. is considered self-harm. One definition that I found of self-harm is: the act of deliberately harming the surface of your own body. If you are self-harming, I hope that you reach out for support and help in those you trust. Yes it does still count as self-harm. This is because you still technically are hurting yourself, by burning yourself with an acid.

Yes it does count since you are hurting yourself. The tool used isn't what counts. It's the fact that your are inflicting harm and pain on yourself that decides whether what you are doing is self harm.

Yes, but only if you do it on purpose because if you do it on purpose your obviously wanting to hurt your self but if not and you do it by accident it's just an accident but I suggest you try talk to someone if you did do it on purpose

Yes, any harm you self inflict on your body is considered self-harm, be it cutting, burning, biting ect.

Any kind of act that provokes injuries and hurts if done on purpose does count as self harm because it is thought as a way of punishmemt

Absolutely! Self harm comes in a variety of different forms. If you are inflicting pain intentionally upon yourself then it is classified as self harm. Therefore using acid to burn yourself does classify as self harm. I advise that you seek professional help if condoning in self harm activities as they are vividly dangerous.

I believe that if you are doing anything to harm yourself, including using acid to burn yourself, then it counts as self harm - any act of going out of the way harm your body is self harm.

Yes using acid counts as self harm self harm is doing anything harmful to yourself that endangers your health or mental stability
