By definition, self-harm is when you hurt yourself as a way to deal with certain feelings. It does not matter in which way you harm yourself for it to be considered self-harm.

Using acid to burn yourself, or doing anything else intentionally to cause pain for yourself counts as self harm. I'd really like to encourage you to stop doing this, and use one of the many resources that 7cups has to offer. There are guides, all of us listeners, and you can reach out for the help of a professional therapist through this site as well. I hope you can find the help you need!

anything that involves physical pain could count as self-harm if it's purpose is to relieve you from emotional pain. with that being said the most important thing is your health so if you're going through self-harm talk to someone, whether it's a parent, 7 cups listener or a therapist!

I would say it is. Any form of hurting yourself on purpose counts as self-harm. What makes you do that? Is for the lack of control over something in your life? It's ok. There are many other people who has their own reasons to self-harm. Know that self-harm it's the symptom of something else.
