You got to be able to make yourself proud first! Once you start getting that self-esteem and sense of accomplishment going, the rest just follows. People will pick up on that! I'm still working on that myself, it's not easy. I know a lot of us (speaking about myself here) crave validation in order to feel like we're doing well in life. That's a trap. Set yourself up for success. Think about what you would like to accomplish and go for it. You can also think about your close friends and family and ask yourself what they have to do to make you proud. Oftentimes you'll find that people being their best selves is more than enough.
