You can use makeup such as foundation, but it is better to naturally heal. Wear sweaters/long sleves

Fortunately, they sell a lot of common remedies for various scars, check your local drug store or pharmacy!

There are several creams and patches to use that are specifically marketed towards helping people get rid of scars! If you're looking for an all natural alternative, there's a lemon juice method and I've heard coconut oil works great!

Honestly some will always be there, and the only way to ensure that they are not there is to not cut. If marks are fresh make sure to medicate them so they stay healthy and don't get infected.

There are many creams which can be used for many scars like strecth marks. I myself have many self harm scars and I went to the local drug store shop and picked up a scar remedy cream. Works great

You can`t, but they will become brighter over time! I have some on my arms and things, and they are barely visible anymore.

Self-harm scars need time finally disappear. You can support the process by putting some lemon juice on a cotton ball and applying it on your scars gently. Wait for 10 minutes and then rinse with warm water. Try to do this 2-3 times a week.

Vitamin E oil. it worked wonders for me. And should for you too as long as the scars are not raised.

The only way I know how to get scars to fade is specialized creams. I suggest researching them and finding which one would suit your needs.

Leave your scars alone and eat healthy and use some good body lotion without parabenes or parfume etc. But I'm not sure if you can ever get rid of all self harm scars completely. But they might reduce or become less visible if you stop self harming and let your scars heal as much as they can on their own time.

You can get ride of self harm scars through tanning in the sun. The sun's rays affect your skin's pigments by turning them darker. As the both the skin around the scar and the scar are exposed to the sun, both grow darker, and the self harm scar eventually fades.

Some scars depending how shallow or deep, will go away with time or not, but there are videos on YouTube as well, if they don't fade away with time.

Mederma is a cream that is used to get rid of the appearance of scars. It's over the counter so it's only a car ride away!

I have used bio-oil and emu oil in the past to eliminate scars. It takes some time, but they gradually fade away.

Fresh self-harm scars can be helped heal faster by putting Neosporin on it or any kind of healing cream/ ointment. Eventually, they will fade away as you get older.

Of course it depends on the severity of the scars and how old they are, but vitamin e oil really helps with scarring. I scar easily, and even have several old self harm scars that have faded naturally with time, but look better because of vitamin e oil.

Apply petroleum jelly to fresh scars. Petroleum jelly (Vaseline) is a derivative of the oil refining process and is used to create a water-resistant barrier on the skin. It can be helpful in reducing scarring because it keeps the skin moist and covered. Apply petroleum jelly to the scarred area once a day. Petroleum jelly does not seem to have an impact on older scars.

Bio Oil works wonders! Sadly, it takes a while to start working. Give it a minimum of 3 months to start seeing results. Also lay in the sun so they look more faded.

Depending on the depth of the scar, some scars heal more thoroughly than others. Vitamin E & C are great contributors to healing scar tissue. I think that many self harm scars have the possibility of always being visible. I don't think that their visibility should cause anyone to feel shamed but more as a reminder as to where you have been and to show you how much progress you have made and how far you have came. I would be less concerned with "getting rid of them" and more concerned with embracing yourself completely even your scars.

Bio Oil is very efficient to help fade scars. Additionally lightly massaging self harm scars can help to speed along the healing process.

There are scar lightening creams you can use to make them less visible. You can also use concealer to hide them. They will fade in time, but likely will never be gone.

I wish I could tell you but unfortunately I don't think you can get rid of self harm scars, they may fade but they'll still be there. You could always make them less prominent by applying ointments or creams. If you're willing to go the extreme I think you can get them removed by laser if I'm correct.

Getting rid of self harm scars may take some dedication. My go-to products are 1. warm coconut oil and 2. lemon juice!

I covered mine with makeup and clothing, you can still see them now but they are a lot less noticable. If you are looking to hide them go to places like boots for makeup as its pretty cheap :-)

Try using any kind of lotion you can find. Sometimes that helps the skin heal the way it's supposed to
