I have covered mine with a beautiful flower tattoo. To me, it symbolises to getting through my struggles and reminding myself that everyone is a unique, beautiful flower.

There are scar revision surgeries and the like, but my personal favorite is to tattoo over them! I know tattoos aren't for everyone, but there is something brilliant about covering up something sad with something beautiful!

Using a vitamin oil and baking soda is a solution i found somewhere, basically mix the oil and the baking soda together to make a 'scrub'. Apply water to scars and then apply the 'scrub' you made earlier and then rinse it off after massaging the scrub in. It also helps skin become softer so it's helpful in that respect too. :)

Keeping cuts clean, covered and not picking at the scabs is the best way to reduce scarring in the future. If you have noticeable scars, sunscreen works well in helping to bring them down and reduce discoloration. You may also consider demabrasion or microdermabrasion as well, which is basically a removal of the top layers of skin to reduce raised scarring.

Lemon, honey, Aloe, onion extract, cucumber paste, all natural ways to get rid of scars. Also, another way to prevent scars, not cutting. It may seem hard but it's worth it in the end.

Vitamin E oils, scar creams, vitamin e supplement, asking a health professional would be beneficial they might have some more effective answers

Lots of time. Depends on how deep they are but there's no way to permanently remove them. I still see mine a little and its been 2 years. Try. A little foundation to see if that will cover them up or if they're fresh just use a bandage

To get rid of scared you can buy a cream like substance called Mederma. All you need to do is go to your nearest pharmacy and ask for Mederma.

Mederma gel, BioOil, AloeVera etc. Mainly creams and things. Try looking for creams that get rid of stretch marks and use those, they will help too.

A great way to get rid of scars is cocoa butter, or getting a tattoo ;-) Cocoa butter is great at removing scars, and tattoos can help prevent future self-harm. It could give you a way to connect with your body in a positive way.

Based on personal experience, I have learned that scars slowly fade but cocoa butter helps tremendously.

There are creams that can be used to reduce scarring like that, sometimes certain laser treatments can help get rid of the color difference, but even if they don't go away, you're still completely beautiful with them, ok?

I use a cream called kelokote, I also generally wear long sleeved shirts, it helps avoid any of the usual discomfort associated with someone spotting self harm scars.

the best way to get rid of self harm scars would be to use a scar fade rub such as mederma. Another good thing to do would be not to scratch these scars bit will only make it worse. If neither of those work you could wear concealer over them.

Usually most of the scars fade away naturally over time, so if you just leave them, they should go away. Otherwise, BioOil is really good at reducing larger scars

I use vitamin e oil daily on all my scars and it works so well. Also keep moisturizer with lotion preferably containing cocoa butter. I find hat these two work best for me.

Okay, it depends on what kind of scar they are. For cuts: Try covering the scars with make-up (old scars, not fresh ones!), use over-the-counter medicine to help fade scars, sun-tan lotion can help old scars fade (not fresh scars). For burns: try silicone sheets or patches, at-home remedies (look up what works best), ask a doctor or someone. Bruises usually fade naturally over time, but if they don't, see a doctor about the problem. It just depends on what kind of self harm it is. If you're still self harming, please, tell someone about it; anyone, it doesn't matter who, just someone. I hope that helps some!

In my opinion, you shouldn't get rid of them. Keep them there to show yourself what you did and use it as motivation to further prevent more self harm.

I recommend using bio oil it really helps with getting rid of scars or you can try to invest in a waterproof, long last concealer like the 'KAT VON D concealer'

There is no sure way to get rid of them. Putting concealer or makeup over them may be a temporary solution, but there is no permanent way.

Unfortunately if the cuts are deeps a lot of the time the scars end up being permanent which can be tough to live with. I have many scars and I often hide them using wristbands and bracelets and when i'm 18 i'm planning on getting a tattoo to cover them

Apply cocoa butter lotion twice day on the skin. It'll be slow but it'll heal. Find other scar-healing creams for faster result.

from personal experience of having scars all over my body , the best way to get rid of self harm scars are to let them be . sometimes if you try to make them go away in a non-natural way they might become brighter and might not fade . so just let them heal naturally !

Try to use some creams from the drugstore that they have in the bandaid isle. You could consider covering them with clothing, accessories, or even tattoos. Whether you choose to cover them or not, they represent a time of your life and are not something you should be ashamed of.

Scars fade, but never go away. From past experiences, scars do not completely go away at all. Yes they will fade, but as far as we all know, they don't disappear. I have heard of a special cream/ointment you can put on them that's supposed to fade them almost completely.
