If the scars are raised with time they may not fade, but Vitamin E oil will help scars. The more important issue is the coping mechanism of cutting yourself, there are many other coping mechanisms out there that a professional counselor could help you find! I feel that talking with a professional would greatly help you overcome your journey! (don't worry they never judge) It may take a few tries to find the perfect counselor for you, but once you find them they will change your life! (coming from somebody who was awful to a few counselors before finding one that I can relate to)
