Anxiety can affect school and schoolwork in many ways. You might be anxious that you're not going to come to class on time or turn in your work on time which could lead to feeling overwhelmed and overworked. You might feel anxious in social situations, which there are lot of in school including being called on during class, interacting with friends and more. All this can be exhausting to constantly be feeling anxious about during school. Anxiety can also affect the ability to concentrate on schoolwork and other activities which might lead to falling behind or lowered grades.
