Exams can be so stressful, and it's so great you're seeking good studying tips! I believe what works for people, may be different, but there's something that works for me and I've also read about them on the internet, Okay so first things first, what's causing stress ? Exams . What is the cause of exam stress ? Feeling unprepared and uncertain if we do well in the exam or not . What can reduce this exam stress? Being prepared and studying . What can we do to ensure we are prepared ? We can study . What can we do to study without stress ? Plan out a timetable , divide the syllabus into small chunks , be focused when we sit down to study , set manageable goals in completion of the course, practice what we've learnt , revise what we've practiced, analyze our studies, see where we are making mistakes and what concepts may need more working on , ask for mentor/ teacher / friend help in those areas, give a nudge to ourselves to practice these concepts and give more time to them , once done give yourself a gentle pat and tell yourself, " I've prepared and done my best , now I can only leave it on the examiner, but I am confident that ,I am going to ace this exam " ! Some general tips and reminders, 1. Eat well 2. Sleep well 3. Don't limit yourself to only studying, do things that you enjoy once a while 4. Go out in nature for walks, talk to friends, take breaks between study sessions 5. If comfortable, make time table and schedule for the exams , ticking off what's done and making sure to mention what needs more improvement and working on . 6. Don't ever hesitate in asking for help, friends, peers and teachers and parents will be open to help you out when feeling stuck 7. Don't be too hard on yourself, this is only an exam, you are trying and doing your best , and you'll be so great at it , just one lesson at a time , you've got this. 💓
