As you probably already know, feeling guilty about your weight doesn't help at all, and mostly makes it worse. But as to your question about getting rid of guilt over it, it may be helpful to understand that "guilt" is a feeling; an emotion. It really has nothing to do with weight measurements, but allowing that feeling to overwhelm you can actually make you want to eat more to compensate . It can be an endless cycle. Noticing the fact that you feel the emotion without judging yourself, or mindfulness can be a start. There are so many tools here to help with that skill, you might start there, doing one every day. When I get this feeling myself, it helps me to force myself to get some exercise. Anything, even a walk can both take your mind off that emotion and it gives you a satisfying feeling that you have done something good for your health and your body. There is no magic solution for this , just one day at a time. Lots of us struggle with the feeling you describe so you are not alone. I hope this helps, just don't give up.

I often feel this way, but remember, nobody stays the same weight all of their life, and thats okay, sometimes im bigger and sometimes im smaller, as long as im healthy i do my best not to worry. plus, you can always loose weight by excising and eating better, which in turn makes you feel better about yourself and that guilt slowly fades away. but the most important thing is be happy with you.
