Anyone, regardless of gender, can experience mental health issues, or any other decline of their optimal well-being. this is one of those things in life that affects anyone, no matter who they are and does not play favorites

Men are more prone to developing mental health issues due to the fact that they have more of a tendency to not express how they are feeling openly and partially due to the fact that men do not express their feelings as easily as woman do. Men are taught that crying is not for men and therefore they more than likely hold their feelings deep inside of themselves, which eventually can turn into feeling trapped and overwhelmed. Men are taught not to show signs of weakness and this is very unhealthy. It is best for men to know they have feelings just like women and it is ok to have someone listen to them.
