I have been supplementing anxiety therapy with relationship therapy for a while now, sometimes relationships can break down suddenly, sometimes with no clues or discussion, and sometimes relationships go through a tough time. I have been helping clients work on co-dependency quite successfully in the past few months so I wanted to offer relationship therapy for those struggling with attachment and dependence.

- My presentation and demeanor is calm, resilient, patient, reliable, reflective and trustworthy
I often try to find ways to engage with my clients and find some common ground and try to work on goals together. Some of my clients exceeded their grades within 3 months of working with me.
My clients find it helpful when I help them work through trauma, food addiction, motivation/procrastination, mental blocks or abuse. Although some of my key client groups are muslim, middle eastern or BAME, a majority of my clients are secular, LGBT, and non-BAME.
I help benefit my clients in their professional and personal lives. Some attain their therapy goals with my therapy, resolving their family conflicts. I support struggling couples to boost their wellbeing and enhance their quality of their relationships. Clients expressed they feel greater performance, that they grow, evolve & mature within relationships. Work related counseling clients reviewed that they see expansion within their career options, prosper in their professional life, thrive in their exams and flourish into a bigger person at work with my sessions.
This is in part because I offered tailor made and personalized therapy services based on the needs of my clients without compromising my boundaries.
Sometimes I follow up with clients inbetween our sessions with emails and confidential text therapy services. This is to maintain progress but to also support them throughout the pandemic. I also balance this with my own self care and clinical supervision. For example my online profile would sometimes get 25 requests a day during the height of the pandemic, yes some of my sessions were free when I felt the client had done a majority of the groundwork for therapy after the first 6 months of therapy.
I try to adhere to the standard established by NCS and BPS protocol of ethics alongside my private practice to maintain a consistent quality of work.
I try to encourage my clients to establish evidence based strategies popular to their preferences to expand and evolve upon their therapy items. They grow confidence and thrive after feeling the empowering impact of developing their own strategies to overcome their issues.
Many female clients appreciate having someone to talk to in confidence, and don’t want any strategy, they just want to feel heard, some even tell me, I don’t want to do anything, I ask them what role they would like me to play as their therapist, as they feel unsupported in their abuse or difficult unfortunate situation, I am asked to provide a safe space to vent.
Not every client wants a course of action, and on the other hand others desire volition and variety of options to choose from.
Sometimes clients seek psychoeducation, some request homework consisting of self care, art therapy, journaling, coping and grounding skills. Exercises to build upon their reflections, sometimes they request minor assessments to examine the quality of the health of their relationships and behaviors, sometimes they appreciate therapeutic story telling led by the Human Givens method.
Whilst this is done , long term I establish and build rapport over a significant period of time. If a client is on a budget sometimes they seek short term therapy or I offer a rebate to encourage them to start engaging with the therapy process.
If clients don’t feel a fit within the first month of therapy I usually responsibly offer them referals with the network of counselors available to take on open ended work.
Sometimes there are hidden addictions present within a relationship which is hiding the scars of deep trauma and it has taken some time, but clients work through their grief over 6-8 months trying to process what happened and move on. If you haven’t yet found solace or healing, you’re more than welcome to try a trial session of therapy for half and hour to see if there is a fit, trial sessions cost $21. It takes place over encrypted Whatsapp video or voice call so literally from anywhere in the World. To sign up, simply fill in the form on the mainpage of my website nnfol and I will contact you within 48 hours.
