Welcome. I am really honored to be a part of your healing process. My role is to help you feel comfortable to do the work you need to do. I offer guidance and support through your tough situation. I am particularly fascinated by the intersection of thoughts, feelings and behaviors. I find that people are often stuck in problematic cycles of negative thoughts and unhelpful behaviors that continually impact their feelings poorly. This is where Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be very helpful in getting you unstuck. Sometimes it takes only a few days to start to see changes. I also believe that we need to look at the whole picture when trying to change so will often encourage my clients to pursue specific activities that will impact other areas of their lives.
