The funny thing about our mind is that we are all hanging like a pendulum somewhere on the wide spectrum of the sanity to insanity scale. Mental well-being is indeed a delicate continuum and there is no such thing as an absolutely 'normal' person.  Be it an emotional setback, a crisis situation or a shocking loss – our strong yet fragile mind may not always be able to stand by us in the most challenging times. And before we could put the broken pieces together, we may tend to lose ourselves.
So, don’t you think it makes better sense to pause, acknowledge and address an issue as an issue, rather than fire-fighting a problem? And if at all you are fighting the fire all by yourself, I understand that it can get quite exhausting for you. Let me assure you, you are not alone in this ! I would be there for you, as the support you need to get hold of yourself, your scattered thoughts and mixed feelings. I believe in us working together as a team at your comfortable pace, which will help you think through your emotional challenges and empower you to find resolutions or effective coping mechanisms. I am not interested in making you dependant on me, rather my focus would be on enabling you rediscover your ability to bounce back.
Having experienced different life situations like living on my own early in life, working in responsible positions in the  competitve atmosphere of the corporate world, being a socially active person, a wife and a daughter, I can relate to various roles of the people that I interact with. Being a people's person, my interest in human beings brought me into the world of counseling. I have personally benefited from counseling to a great extent in the rough patches of my life and I truly believe it can touch your life too, provided you give it commitment and allow it the time it requires. I am a certified mental health counselor/ psychotherapist practicing personal centered therapeutic approach , drawing on techniques of cognitive behavioural therapy as well. I prefer to see my counselees as individuals at par, rather than 'clients' or 'patients'. Having worked closely with adoloscents/young adults/men and women/elderly, I feel I can make a difference, however small or big it may be, to my fellow human beings' lives.
Humbled to see that you've chosen 7cups to share something very personal to you. This is a brave first step you have taken towards emotional healing. I am all ears, would be privileged to listen and provide emotional support. If I am online, feel free to start a conversation. If not, you could always leave me a message.

She is still the best listener and responder I've ever had. I'm starting to feel back grounded again
Sarah is a good listener she listens with her intuition and not just using what is written in black and white. Her thoughts are structured and so it's easy for me to respond to her questions
Sarah was wonderful and extremely empathetic and kind. one of the best therapists i’ve had the pleasure of working with.
in our short time chatting she has been very helpful
She is an amazing therapist and she has helped me tremendously. She was there for me when I needed her. You can tell her anything, and she knows how to rationalize it for you. Great experience.
