A little bit about me: I'm 33 years old, married, with two children (teenagers. OY!). I was beaten and verbally abused by my mother when I was a child, bullied in school, cheated on and left by my first husband, had a boyfriend die in a car accident when I was 20, survived through my sister committing suicide, and I've still somehow managed to come out as a decent person. (At least, I think so anyway) I'm still dealing with some of my own issues, but I've found that talking to other people, sharing our stories and letting out the pain we've been holding inside for so long, can often help. Even if I can offer you nothing more than a willing ear to listen, sometimes, it might be enough to pull you back from a ledge.

I enjoy reading, writing, playing the piano, singing, crocheting, and making jewelry. As a profession, I am a special needs preschool teacher, and I teach choir to 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students in the morning before school.
