...See more Sometimes, when I feel anxious, I feel scared that losing my anxiety will make me less vigilant, which will cause me to miss something, and I will suffer as a consequence. I become afraid that without my anxiety, I won't be myself; that I would somehow be lying to the world. But I think that's just my anxiety lying to me, so that I will keep it around. Recently, I have given myself permission to enjoy those anxious-free moments and it feels really great. Are there any times that you have successfully told your anxiety to beat it? Does your anxiety try to retaliate? What things does it say to you, to reason its way insidiously back into your mind?
