Pleased to meet you!

So, a little bit about me. I am a 22-year-old male whose main interests in life are music, philosophy, current events, movies/TV-shows, sports, non-verbal communication, as well as video games. I would like to think that I'm someone who has a cheery and thoughtful personality. I'm rather shy and withdrawn, but if I feel comfortable around someone, then I can easily open up to them. I have a witty side, and I find enjoyment in making others laugh. 

I strive to provide support and guidance here because I'm someone who doesn't mind being there for anyone who's going through times of adversity. I also do it because I find it personally stimulating to engage in meaningful one-on-one conversations with others. As for my approach, I would say that what I bring to the table is a combination of a listening ear, empathetic understanding, attention to detail, and candor. I pursue each and every dialogue with the understanding that a reciprocal attitude of constructiveness will be upheld, so do bear that in mind for the sake of common courtesy. I only take personal requests. If you think that I could be a listener for you, then please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
