Have lived a relatively normal life a lot of the time however life has an interesting way to give you a reality check, either by ones own actions or events that are out of your control. I have most recently been a Kaitiaki (guardian) doing peer support for homeless, addict, mental health, vulnerable people in my community through a local organisation, this role has allowed me to draw on my own personal experiences and assist in providing quality peer support to those that require a hand up and some good ground level advice.
