Bio

Active listening is like kindness and empathy, simple enough in principle. and a life time task to master fully. Because of my background I feel more naturally able to help people struggling with stressful emotional situations, toxic or difficult family situations, or with anxiety, PTSD, depression. Many times in the past I could overcome hardships and difficulties simply by having a chance to talk to someone who really listened. I'd like to "pay that kindness forward" now by listening to you on 7Cups.
Don't be fooled by all the topic training badges on my profile page: that only means I got acquainted to the topic, not that I am an expert! But I will be happy to try and help you regardless, as a fellow human. If I am online, feel free to start a chat. If I'm offline, you can send me a message so we can set up a time to chat. I look forward to it. I have work and life commitments, so I don't have as much free time as I would like, but I will do my best to be available several times a week to help out.

Incredible Listener with a very open and kind heart.
Such a compassionate listener
Charlie was incredibly kind, empathetic and an extremely great listener. They let me vent everything I was feeling and concerned about and then helped me not only feel better about my problem but actually find a solution! I honestly didn’t see a way for there to be a solution without a big confrontation, but they found it! I stepped into the chat room with a black mood and feelings of hopelessness, but left uplifted, free and light. They were truly amazing, better than many “actual” therapists I’ve seen and much quicker as well! I cannot thank them enough, this changed not only my whole day, my week, but will have long-lasting positive effects on my relationship. They are THE. BEST. EVER!!! I hope they stay as volunteers forever! This was my first time using 7 Cups and I will be recommending it to everyone I know!!!
