Cookies, cookies, cookies!
Hi all,
I love cookies and I always like finding new fun recipes. I would love to learn about your favorite cookie recipes. Tell us why you love the recipe. Tell us if you have any stories about that recipe, like if it's a family favorite.
Recipe links are much appreciated.
1. Chocolate mint cookies. I love this recipe because it's always a crowd-pleaser. It's also a recipe my family got from our next door neighbor when I was younger. She is a kind, wonderful woman, and I like to think of her when I bake these.
2. Farm cookies. These are a bit unusual. I like to imagine that someone came up with this one when they were baking oatmeal cookies, realized they were short on oatmeal, and had to get creative. These were a family favorite when I was growing up and they're still one of my all-time favorites.
3. Gluten-free peanut butter cookies. I learned this recipe from one of my oldest friends. She has a coule of gluten-intolerant family members and makes this recipe for them. They're also the most peanutty cookies I've ever had. Super delish, and I always think of my friend when I make them.
My grandmother used to make these No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies for me all the time when I was little. Every time I make them now, it reminds me of her. ♥ They are very quick, easy and delicious.
Her original recipe is from a very old family cook book, but the one linked above is close to it.
(FYI - I substitute vegan butter and cashew milk.)
