Bill $150/month per client enrolled. 7 Cups does all of the billing, advertising, and referrals to help you build your practice. For this convenience, 7 Cups is provided with 40% of all that you bill (All other online platforms collect 50%). To get started, simply sign up to be listed in the 7 Cups professional directory, for $7.49.

It varies based on the number of clients in your 7 Cups caseload. Your 7 Cups clients receive unlimited messaging to you. Your obligation is only to read these messages and reply at least once per day (not on the weekends). Most clients will not message you daily.
Clinical license (US, Europe, and Canada providers), comfort and familiarity with technology, or a willingness to learn, availability to reply daily to messages via computer or iphone/android app (not on weekends). Must possess current malpractice insurance, and be willing to provide proof of such upon request.
7 Cups will offer a monthly conference call check in for all providers. Connect with others, ask questions, troubleshoot problems. In the Therapist community, you will also find a therapist forum specific to getting support from other online providers.
This will vary by insurance company. Your clients can seek reimbursement for your services just like they can for offline therapy. We will provide templates for you to use with clients.
No. 7 cups does not offer therapy directly or sell therapy services--we connect clients and therapists. 7 Cups is essentially like a landlord leasing space online for therapists to provide services. Therapists are responsible for providing appropriate, professional services. All therapists billing through 7 Cups will be considered a 1099 contractor, and will be paid monthly by 7 Cups.
Not all clients will be appropriate for online services. You must be willing to use clinical judgement to refer out clients who you think should see a provider face to face, or refer clients in crisis to emergency responders. 7 Cups stores personal information for all clients, and this can be made available to the therapist in the event of an emergency.
Our platform is HIPAA compliant. Clients will be asked to confirm that they reside in the state where the therapist is licensed, to be in line with online therapy regulations. View our free guide for more information about providing legal and ethical online practice.
