...See more Comment: Preferred name/pronouns, how you wish to contribute here: Favorite color & why: Favorite season & why: Example: Hello there. Most folks call me "comforting" or "musician" here, but never the two combined, which I don't mind at all. Pronouns are he/him. I am on hiatus from individual chats right now but currently I periodically contribute by responding to forum posts and/or posting. I hope to continue helping folks feel less alone in whatever they're facing here. Darker green has always been my favorite color. It just gives a fresh vibe. Autumn is my favorite season. The days are of reasonable length and temperatures are just right (at least in the first chunk before the deep dark winter lol). I also enjoy the unique colors of trees.

...See more Howdy folks, hope this message finds you well. My birthday is this weekend, and normally every year it coincides with a work or school commitment, but I got lucky this year. It'll feel weird but I'll manage. Additionally, I'm just waiting for some behind-the-scenes administrative stuff to clear so I can start work again very soon [restaurant stuff -- I enjoy straightforward work]. I typically don't do much to celebrate as most of my friends are online [like all of you!]. If you're into spiritual/astrology stuff, you may find it interesting that I am an August Leo and my Chinese zodiac animal is a horse. Best wishes to all, perhaps pop open a cold (or hot) drink/treat of your choice on the 15th to treat yourself on my behalf :)).

...See more Hard boundary: Please refrain from asking personal questions. I don't want to be rude but I also don't want to dox myself here. As perhaps many of you know and/or have experienced, the market is very tough even for entry-level stuff right now. Add other factors/stressors and whatnot on top of the job search and things become even more difficult -- though the search by itself is already hard enough, for lack of better terms. It's general labor stuff in a small restaurant and I'm starting part-time and eventually transition to full-time just to get back in the swing of things and being on my feet again. I'm just happy to have some sense of stability/routine again. The timing works out well too, with my 24th birthday coming up soon.

...See more TIme flies when a lot of stuff simultaneously happens over the years, eh? I turn 24 this month. Between earning my degree, working various jobs and continuing to figure out what I want to do in the long run, it's been a ride. Along the way, as perhaps expected in life, people came and went for one reason or another. Obstacles big and small appear by the will of the universe or other circumstances. I continue to learn from mistakes past and present.  Perhaps many of you feel similarly whenever it reaches near your birthday. Either way. As I like to tell people sometimes, "WELL, I'M STILL HERE!"
